Ancient Greece, c. 5th - 3rd Century BC. Nice Greek bronze bracelet with feline decoration. Made from sheet bronze, the terminals triangular in shape and each with an feline head facing, parallel grooves running on the outside of the shank. Outside diameter 65 mm (2 1/2"). Very attractive with pleasing olive green patina. Ex Wiltshire, UK private collection, from the estate of Amold Walter Lawrence, 1900-1991, younger brother of TE Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). Ancient Greek-Baktrian Gold Beads
Extremely rare and beautiful! These date from the 1st millenium BC and were part of the famous Bactrian "Golden Treasure" of Afghanistan.

Ancient Greece. Hellenistic period, c. 4th-3rd century BC. Excellent large gold torque. Either an upper-arm band or neck torque. Measures 108x110 mm (about 4 1/4") diameter. A gorgeous piece! Most likely gold leaf hammered onto a base-metal core. The body tapers gracefully from 4mm at the center to about 2 mm at the small rounded points. Found in the Eastern Mediterranean at the remains of an ancient coastal settlement. Ex-European collection. #22474x2: $875 SOLD
